About the Event
Would you like to be more active in the community, but you don't have much time to give? Come and find out more about Altrusa while meeting a bunch of friendly women and contributing to our planning as we discuss upcoming fundraisers and community service opportunities.
Our August meeting starts at 7.30pm. We will be presenting Laura from Linden Primary School with 24 sets of instructional readers as part of our "Get set for a brighter future" project.
Our monthly meeting will follow after the presentation. This month's hands-on activity is putting the coding books we purchased for primary and intermediate schools into packs to distribute to schools.
Altrusa is an international non-profit organisation, and we are seeking new volunteers to join us and make a difference. Our members are from varying occupations and lifestyles, all sharing an interest in community service and enjoying the friendship, fun and satisfaction that comes from working together for the benefit of others.
